What we build.

Fencing

Closeboard, featheredge, lap panel, picket and post-and-rail. Concrete posts and gravel boards for a fence that lasts.

Patios & Paving

Indian sandstone, porcelain and natural stone. Properly bedded on full mortar with hand-pointed joints.

Crazy Paving & Pathways

Hand-laid riven sandstone paths that wind, curve and follow your garden — not the other way around.

Steps & Walls

Brick-faced steps, retaining walls and raised beds. Engineered properly so they're still square in 20 years.

Turf & Lawns

Soil prep, levelling and rolled turf. New lawns laid on properly graded topsoil — not on top of yesterday's mess.

Maintenance & Clearance

Hedge cutting, garden clearance, jet washing and seasonal tidy-ups. Keep it looking like the day we finished.

FAQ

Questions,
answered honestly.

How much does a new patio or garden landscaping project cost in South Wales?

In South Wales, a small Indian sandstone patio (around 20m²) typically starts from £2,500–£3,500 supplied and laid. Full back-garden transformations including patio, fencing, turf and planting usually fall between £6,000 and £20,000+ depending on size, materials and access. Every quote we give is itemised and free.

Which areas of South Wales do you cover?

We cover Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, Caerphilly, the Rhondda, the Vale of Glamorgan and Merthyr Tydfil. If you're in or near South Wales, just call and we'll let you know if we can reach you.

How long does a typical back-garden transformation take?

A new fence run is usually 1–3 days. A standard patio takes 3–7 days. A full garden makeover with patio, fencing, lawn and planting typically takes 2–4 weeks on site, weather permitting.

What's the best time of year to install fencing or a new patio in Wales?

Spring through early autumn (March–October) gives the most reliable weather, but we work year-round. Booking in winter often means earlier start dates and better availability for spring installs.

Do I need planning permission for a new patio, fence, or driveway in Wales?

Most domestic patios, fences up to 2m (1m next to a highway) and replacement driveways using permeable materials fall under permitted development. Listed buildings, conservation areas and front-garden hard-standing over 5m² may need permission. We'll flag any concerns during your free site visit.

What types of fencing do you install?

Closeboard (featheredge), lap panel, picket, post-and-rail and double-sided hit-and-miss. We use pressure-treated timber, concrete posts and gravel boards for the longest lifespan in Welsh weather.

Are your patios and fencing guaranteed?

Yes. Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months as standard. Manufacturer warranties on fencing timber and stone are passed straight on to you.

Can I get a free quote and how do I book a site visit?
